Henrieke
Heey!
My name is Henrieke, and I'm 16 years old. I live in a village near Veendam, called Spijkerboor. I've lived here since I was 4 years old.
I'm in Havo4, on the Winkler Prins.
I cycle to school everyday, I leave at 7.10 and school starts at 8.00..
I live with my parents and little sister, who is 14 years old and she also does Havo. We also have a cat, his name is Tijger, which means tiger in Dutch C: We always used to go to Norway in the holidays, so I've never been to Spain!
When I'm not at school I like hanging out with friends, having fun, drawing, taking photos or listening music. I like reading books, too. I mostly listen rock and indie and I like going to concerts. I have a job, but most of the time, I only work at Saturday, except for the holidays.
After Havo I want to go to the Academy of Arts, because I'm really into art and culture. And I'd really like to travel for one year, or go on exchange.
I'm really excited to go to Spain, because I've never been there, and I really like travelling and meeting new people.
xx from the Netherlands

Title?
Hello, my name is Óscar and I am 17 years old (for the moment). I am currently studying 1st batxillerat for the second time (A levels in technology) ... because I'm repeating (obviously I studied "a lot"). From 8:00h to 14:30h, I live in the INS Marina, but otherwise I have a beautiful home to sleep just 5 minutes from school.
I live with my parents, my sister of 14 years old and my pets: My dog Trina, a giant Schnauzer, my cat Coco and Gris, a rabbit. The birds: a magpie, and, approximately 15-20 parakeets. I can’t forget the fishes, turtles, hamsters and my favorite: My two big-spiders (Taran and Tula, because in Spanish a big-spider is a tarantula). Unfortunately, you can’t meet them because they will die before the exchange. Also I have a Geko (like a salamander) and Pogona (like a smaller iguana).
In my free time, when I'm not taking care of the animals, walking the dog or on the computer, I like being with my friends and walking around, watching movies and basically laughing. I like any kind of music, so I listen to the radio and do not know what else to write ... so... Bye
From Spain,
Óscar

Sandra
Hi!
I’m Sandra. I’m sixteen years old, since last week (5th November).
I have always lived in La Llagosta. La Llagosta is a little town, maybe it can be a bit boring, because you always see the same things, but the good thing is that you have more freedom, and it’s very near Barcelona, the big city. I live in a flat with my family, 10 minutes from school.
I’m studying technology batxillerat (A levels). I’m really interested in drawing, and in the future, I will study Architecture at the university.
In my free time, I like painting, reading, listening to music (rock music especially) chatting with my friends and going to the gym. I really like the indoor cycling class. At the weekends, I always try to be with my friends, because they are so cheerful and fun.
It isn’t the first time I am part of an exchange. In 2008, I went to Turkey, and it was a very good experience. This is why I wanna repeat.
I 'm looking forward to going to Holland, because but I love travelling!
If you come, I think you will love Barcelona, because it is a fantastic city...
See you soon!

Nati
My name's Nati and I'm a teacher of English at a secondary school in La Llagosta. This town is 13 km away from Barcelona, and the train station is very near the school.
I live in a flat in Barcelona with my child and I get to school by train. I usually have lunch at home with my son. He's sixteen years old and is studying to be a mechanic.
In my free time I like doing lots of different things, like rollerblading, going on excursions, going to the theatre, to the cinema and sometimes I go dancing too. I'm learning how to dance salsa and will soon learn how to film and edit my recordings. I like technology!
I'm keen on travelling and went to Greece and Berlin last summer holidays. At the beginning of December I'm going to travel to Marrakech with a group of friends.
I also speak German, and that proved to be very useful when I travelled to Austria and Germany.
What about you?
